BERLIN OPEN 2017
Dear Lacrosse community,
BLAX is hosting the 23rd edition of the Berlin Open Lacrosse tournament, which will take place from June 16 – 18, 2017 in our usual venue Stadion Lichterfelde.
We would be really happy if you will send a team to Berlin. Unfortunately, we cannot use the stadium next year due to structural works on the arena. However, we use all the fields around and will still have a great competition. There will be 16 spots for men, 12 for women.
At the current state we can’t tell you if we do a Youth tournament, as we are not sure if we have the field for that. We’ll let you know as soon as possible. Every year we have to deal with a high number of inquiries for our tournament so we need to start early with the planning. With this information we would like to ask for your interest to send a team to Berlin in 2017. Please sort out with your team if you want play in Berlin next year and let me know until January 15, 2017. The playing fee is 35 EUR per person including all events during the tournament plus a referee fee of 200 EUR per team (we invite experienced referees und umpires from all over the globe). After receiving a request by you to be part of the BO17, I will give you further details on the tournament and the registration procedure.
Important: this information is not a direct invitation for your team and there is no guarantee to participate just by receiving this it! We will choose teams regarding to have a high level of Lacrosse, to be an international tournament and we keep spots for traditional teams. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask.
